A year gone by

Salam alaykum,
Time goes so swiftly and I can hardly believe it has been a year since I last blogged. A year full of fun, happiness and huge changes. Alhamdulilah I am now a doctor (of Philosophy) and a married woman. I pray Allah puts barakah in my and your affairs.

Through all the changes the year brought I learnt an important lesson:
1) Put your trust in Allah
2) Have people around you that remind you to put your trust in Allah
3) Have people who encourage you in all you do (so far it is not in the disobedience of your Lord).

Inshaallah I will strengthen my effort to maintain this blog. I hope you like the little changes that I have introduced.

I pray the year to come brings more joy and happiness and whatever trials await us we are patient with the qadr of Allah (subhanallah wa tahala).

O you who believe! Seek assistance through patience and prayer; surely Allah is with the patient. (Al Quran 2:153)
